Point of Entry

Point of Entry:Point of Entry is the seventh album from the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was released on 26 February 1981.

In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" from their album British Steel. As a result the band pursued a more radio friendly direction on Point of Entry.

In the booklet of the Remastered CD, the band states:

"Recorded on the island of Ibiza with multiple distractions, glorious sunshine, and extremely low cost alcohol, this album was regarded with mixed feelings because it was different from what people expected. The album was nearly all spontaneously written and performed in Ibiza - it was an experiment in the sense that before this we had already written the majority of the songs before going into the studio."

he couple had to purchase bottled water for more than a year until they were hooked up to municipal water in August. The state partially reimbursed their costs for the water they bought, and the town waived the water-connection fee.

“Our well water was really excellent,” Frances Penza said. “But we don’t drink it anymore.”

The other option the state presented homeowners was to install a point-of-entry treatment system. DEP paid for those systems, and technicians monitor them monthly.

The DEP is still investigating any other causes of the contamination and is working with the owners of the Village Shopping Center, DEP spokesman Larry Hajna said.

“Under state law, current owners are considered liable for cleaning up pollution caused by past activities on their properties,” Hajna wrote in an email.

Hajna also noted that while there is a dry-cleaning storefront in the commercial center now, the business does not dry clean on the site and is not a source of the contamination.

Hammonton Mayor Steve DiDonato said he was discussing the issue with town engineers after seeing the information released by PEER.

“This is a very unfortunate situation,” he said. “I entrust the DEP to handle the situation and monitor the wells of the homeowners that are affected by this.”

Rep. Frank Pallone, D-6th, has also called on the EPA to explain why the 27 sites given hazard scores higher than 28.5 were not listed on the national Superfund list.

PEER is continuing with litigation against the EPA under the Freedom of Information Act to seek information about hazard listings for sites that are pending a determination for Superfund status.

“Keeping those documents confidential is not good public policy,” Wolfe said. “The public should have this information, and all those kinds of things that put context around the site are totally unavailable to the public.”

So with this budget, I am proposing to create a new division focused on children within the Department of Children and Families. This division will be the point of entry for all families with children with developmental disabilities — allowing them to benefit from a battery of services without having to be shuttled from agency to agency.

The concept is to treat the whole child and the whole family — in one place. The division will develop an integrated set of services — and for these families, make government work smarter and better. It will also provide a transition process through adolescence to adult services.

So I ask for your support of this simple and streamlined approach to the provision of services. How we care for individuals with developmental disabilities is a fundamental issue. Let's serve this population better.

For our seniors, I propose a similar approach. With this budget, I am proposing the creation of a Division of Aging Services. This division, to be housed in the Department of Human Services, will also be the single point of access for all of our services to seniors. It will enable us to coordinate all senior services — nursing home care, community care, pharmaceutical assistance for the aged and disabled, senior gold, utility lifeline. In one place. With a coordinated, holistic approach.
