Son Ye-jin (born January 11, 1982) is a South Korean actress.Son Ye-jin has taken on a variety of roles in her career to date, propelling her to fame both in Korea and in other Asian countries. She first appeared in a supporting role in Park Ki-hyung's film Secret Tears in 2000, and then went on to take the lead in TV dramas such as Delicious Proposal, Sun-hee and Jin-hee, and Daemang: Great Ambition. Her first high-profile role in cinema was in Im Kwon-taek's Chi-hwa-seon, which screened at Cannes and took home a Best Director award in 2002.
After filming the dark mystery White Night, Son wanted to do a more fun project, so she chose the romantic comedy Personal Taste, followed by the supernatural love story Spellbound (Korean title: Chilling Romance). She next stars in her first blockbuster action flick, Tower, a remake of the 1974 Hollywood film The Towering Inferno.
Actress Son Ye Jin revealed that she likes dating younger men.
In the episode of KBS 2’s Entertainment News that aired on the 26th of November, Son Ye Jin appeared in the feature called Guerrilla Date.
A reporter asked, “In real life, do you like dating younger guys?” and without hesitation, Son answered, “I do. I like dating younger guys.”
In addition, she said that living as an actress is like skating on thin ice, implying the difficulty of keeping her career as an actress.

In the movie, Son Ye-jin takes on the role of Yeo-ri, a woman who can't have a normal life because of her ability to see ghosts and she will display a whole set of something no one else has seen before.
On November 14th, the producer of SBS ‘Running Man’ revealed through TV report that they are currently recording and preparing for a new episode with Son Ye Jin. This spoiler news is quickly spreading through twitter and other social networking sites.
The producer once previously mentioned regarding unintentional spoilers, “We have no choice but to accept the spoilers due to the format of how ‘Running Man’ is recorded.”
