Quan Yifeng (or is it Quan Yi Feng?) is without doubt the beauty and the beast--yeah, yeah...that answers my past article, "Quan Yifeng: the beauty...and the beast?".
Some time in June last year, she was accused of taxi rage, which led to her being invited for a 6-hour talk with police in July!
She has always been known for her fiery temper. This time round, she was allegedly seen slapping her husband, Hong Rong, thrice on his face after he tried to pacify her in a quarrel with another driver over a traffic dispute.
A celebrity is also a human, he/she need not be perfect. We should not learn from their attitude. We must be ourselves. Other than Quan Yi Feng, we can also see negative cases from other celebrity such as Jack Neo. They are celebrities, therefore it is important to show a good image to the public because once you did something wrong, the world of million people will be able to recognize you. You just don't have much privacy. A celebrity can either be famous or notorious.
Secondly, Yi Feng was fined S$1,000 for having a loud argument with a bowling alley attendant in 1996. Reference: http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/entertainment/view/1066234/1/.html. She could make it such that it ended up into the police case for such an unbelievable "easy to settle" case.
Now, talk about her positive points. She often helped in the charity show such as Life Transformers despite facing much difficulties. I think it's good to share a heart with people who are really in need. Her passion to be a volunteer, helping others to clean their messy and dirty houses are not an easy task. She need to face not only the smell, the dust as well and that were neither pleasant nor comfortable in a long run.
This incident, which happened on Jun 26, 2010, had caused damage of about $70.
The Straits Times reported that her lawyer Subhas Anandan said Quan was suffering from depression, and as a result of her mental condition, reacted to the actions of the cabby that made her deeply remorseful.
When Mr Chan was driving along towards the junction of Upper East Coast Road and Bedok South Avenue 1, he made an emergency brake to avoid hitting a vehicle in front, causing Quan and her daughter to be thrown forward and hitting the back of the front seats.
Two other charges of mischief and using criminal force will be taken into consideration when she is sentenced on Dec 29, pending a probation report.
